Izzy and I had the best time at Fern Valley Farm in Bristol, VA! If you haven't visited yet, definitely put it on your list of places to go with your children. Farmer Larry and Ms. Lynn were absolutely amazing - very friendly and welcoming - but Izzy and I were greeted first by Sarg and Buddy, loving dogs that Izzy could have saddled up! Our first activity was to create a fairy garden. Ms. Lynn had carefully organized all of the materials. The kids had a great time painting, digging in dirt, placing their flowers, moss, and rocks, and choosing the perfect fairy to complete their garden. Then, we had cookies and strawberry lemonade before we met the baby chicken, miniature horses, alpaca, Miracle the lamb, and the bunny rabbits. We had a fun-filled two hours, and we can't wait to go back!
