Rebecca: A Girl & Her Dog

This sweet girl decided to bring her dog Ashley along to our session.  Ashley is a sweetheart, and she loves her momma!  When Rebecca and I were shooting away from Ashley, she whined and whined wanting Rebecca to come back.  It was pretty cute!  Rebecca is a creative young lady.  She has crocheted pieces for me, and all she needs is a picture!  Look her up on Facebook at Tig Isi Missy .  She can do anything, so if you have something specific in mind, just ask!  Support a teenager trying to run her own business.  How amazing is that?! Coincidentally, Rebecca is friends with Tashina and Heaven.  Take a look at their sessions if you haven't already!  This group of young ladies can't hide in the hallway because they are too busy laughing.  It's funny, really, but it's also a reminder of how great friendship really is.  I hope these girls and the rest of their buddies continue to brighten my day when I see them in the hallway this year. Here's Rebecca!

Happy birthday, Jase!

Finally!  I can post these!  This session was a gift from my sister to her sister-in-law for Jase's first birthday.  Since it was a surprise, I've had to keep these images from the public's eye for what seems like forever!  This little guy loves his blankie, his Mammaw and Pappaw's swing, and his Pappaw's lap.  During the session, Jase wasn't truly content unless he was sitting with his Pappaw.  With Pappaw's singing, I was able to get some super cute images of this sweetie pie.  My Izzy even got in some playtime with him, as well as her own balloon and cupcake.  What a fun time!  Happy first birthday, little Jaserbug! Courtney!

This was a fun session!  Courtney is what some may call a prize pupil.  She finished the year off with the highest average in 11th grade English!  Woot! Woot!  Go Courtney!  I told her mom during the session that I saw much more of Courtney's personality once she got out of my class.  Boy, did she let it show during this session!  Maybe it was because her little sister, Cheyenne, was with us, but I saw some sassiness that I had not seen before.  From splashing in the water to talking about awkward hugs, I had so much fun with this girl and her family.  This year better watch out for Courtney!  She's going to take it by storm! Personality Plus: Tashina

Miss Tashina made my morning even more fun than I could imagine.  This sweet, happy young lady came to the session prepared with her bicycle and her sketchbook. These images tell a story about Tashina.  She's fun, artistic, and thoughtful.  Plus she has an infectious laugh!  In class, Tashina always did her best.  She was attentive, serious, and enthusiastic about literature or any subject we discussed.  For what more can a teacher ask?   Good luck to this creative lady this year.  I hope her senior year is filled with many more laughs! Muddy Puddles

Izzy loves Peppa Pig, and if you've seen the show, you know about muddy puddles.  Today was our day to play like Peppa, George, and all her friends.  Thanks to my good friend Jessie, I had a little nudge of inspiration with a pin from Pinterest, and I figured we might as well have a little fun in the rain today instead of staying cooped up inside.  I was going to hold off on posting these, but I just can't wait.    I love my girl, her smile, her personality, her fearlessness, her strong will, and her playfulness.  I hope she always stays the same! Hannah R.: Class of 2015

Miss Hannah and I most certainly had an interesting time during this session.  Just about all of Hannah's session required some sort of painful physical activity which included hiking uphill through some trials (P.S. I'm totally out of shape!), torturing our bare feet by walking on some super sharp rocks, lifting the heaviest cinderblock I've ever encountered, and getting stuck by wild blackberry briars.  Additionally, we learned we need to practice making flower crowns, and apparently, Hannah looks young enough to be considered an 8th grader.  Oh, and I owe Hannah a pair of jeans!  Yes, this was a very interesting trip, but so much fun.  This young lady has such a great sense of humor and tons of creativity.  As a student, she's a terrific writer!  :)  Even though she feels like high school has lasted forever, I hope she enjoys this last year and remembers it as the best time of her life.    Here's Hannah… This work is licensed
