The Journey...

As I was looking through some files tonight, I found this gem.  I took this photo last summer for Micah's senior portraits.  While Micah only has a few short weeks left of high school and her journey will be starting a new direction, my journey could possibly be taking the same type of course.  I'm almost finished with my Master's degree in Library Media, and I've been considering taking up more photography sessions.  Coincidentally, I feel as though my journey, the journey of the past 7+ years, might be taking a new direction.   Here's to all of those ready to make a change, whatever that change may be.  May we all have a little faith, trust, and pixie dust to help us along our way!

Snowy Day

After the biggest snowfall came down Wednesday night, we had to get Izzy outside the next morning.  She didn't like it too much, but we managed to make one good snow angel.  Today, we spent the afternoon sledding at my Dad's house.  This was Izzy's first trip down a hill, and she handled it pretty well.  Ultimately, she figured out she would rather eat the snow instead of play in it!   While the snow can be fun, especially for kids, I'm hoping we don't see anymore of the stuff!  I did get a few good shots, though!

Mr. Brody

What a special little guy!  This was my very first newborn shoot, and I'm super proud of the results.  To make things much easier on me, I was blessed with the most handsome little model around!  Brody was so sweet and pleasant during our session; plus, he had the new baby smell!  Ahhh!  Since doing this session, I've learned a few things to make my work better, but overall, I am very pleased with the shots.    I hope you enjoy!  Here's Mr. Brody…
