RAD pixels photography

This family is so much fun!  Not only do they have amazing kids ready to steal the show, but they live on a farm complete with chickens, goats, cows, and ponies!  Yes, these kids really have their own ponies!  I've photographed the baby and the family before, but this was the first time busy head coach dad got to be in the pictures, too.  I'm glad it worked out that way. Even though the session was in the middle of December, we all were hot before we finished.  I even had to persuade Jackson with some candy so that I could get a few more shots.  Then, there was Lane. Lane was much happier minding his own business rather than getting a camera snapped in his face.  I did a lot of running chasing this little guy down.  Hannah was all smiles showing off tricks on her pony and loving on her brothers.  Overall, I think we had some fun! Merry Christmas to this wonderful family!  I hope Santa is extra good to these kids! ...

First Christmases are so exciting for parents!  Ultimately, this starts parents' journeys of creating Christmas magic for their families.  Easton's idea of Christmastime will forever be shaped by the traditions that his parents create for him now.  I know Jessi and Matt will have the best Christmas ever watching their precious little boy play with bows, paper, and boxes, and their own holiday traditions will begin.  Enjoy this time! During this session, Easton was curious, but content.  He was also easily intrigued when his Paw came over to have a little talk.  I say it so much, but I really can't believe how much this little guy has grown since our first session.  His hair is getting lighter, like his momma's, and he is sitting up on his own like a champ.  We had a good time with each other, even though he wanted nothing to do with my hats.  We made it work, though, thanks to momma! The rain started coming down just as we started this group's photos, but just as in life, we can't let a little rain stop us, now can we?  Nothing much else to say about these people other than they are pretty great.  :) Enjoy! Oh, I think it's important to note that happiness is mostly shown with people's eyes closed and their mouths wide open.  Silliness is good for the soul, folks. A little rain wasn't going to stop Jase and his family from getting these photos done.  Luckily, the rain slacked off not long after we got started.  Jase isn't a huge fan of too much attention, but he managed to have some fun running around Roan Valley Tree Farm and exploring the blue truck.  Also, he gave me love and said my name!  I'll take that as a win! I'm excited to watch Jase grow up, yet his little face looks exactly the same as it did during his 1st birthday session.  What a cutie pie! Thanks to Jason and Christina for letting me work with them again.  I'm sure Santa will be extra good to this little guy this year!  Merry Christmas, Jase! Hey, folks.  So it's been some time since I've posted an update here.  For those of you who follow me on social media, you know I've still been taking a few photos here and there.  Although, starting my new job caused me to slow down.  Way down.  I wanted to make sure I could handle that load plus this pastime.  What I've learned from this small hiatus is that I really do love taking photos.  More than taking photos, I love the final product and the reactions that it receives from the subjects, my friends, or even complete strangers.  Now, I'm back at it and working on expanding just a little.  More on that later...
