Hanah and I took these photos the day she received her cap and gown. This girl can't wait for these last few days of her last semester in high school to pass quickly. With prom approaching, she'll have more images on here, but for now, she can revel in the idea that this chapter in her life is almost over.
Hanah has had tremendous opportunities while in high school, doing everything from serving on the Carter County Youth Leadership team, attending Governor's School and Upward Bound, playing golf for four years, and most recently, winning third place in the state Future Business Leaders of America competition and being invited to the National competition in June. She will be graduating with plenty of college credit hours already under her belt, so she can hit the ground running in the fall at ETSU. Hanah has planned to be a pharmacist for some time now. As far as I know, her goal is to be involved in public health, and I think Dr. Dula has finally convinced her to seek some sort of math minor, as well.
This young lady is going places, folks. And this aunt is proud. Congratulations, Hanah, on all of your successes. More words of wisdom to follow in upcoming posts...
